what i like and do not like

things i do not like:

missing one of my dearest friends say 'I DO' to her beloved. dang it!
going away for two nights and seeing upon my return 87 new messages in my inbox, OVER a weekend. wouldn't be so bad if some of them were fun emails from home.....
Obama getting the noble peace prize. seriously?!?!? i want to gag.
bringing my camera but forgetting to take a single photo the entire weekend. ooooo wait, just kidding. i did snap one of leah and a wall.
being reminded why i love fall in the states. it isn't just football friday, or all day sunday, or a few college games on saturday, it is nonstop from friday night till monday night, and i miss it :(

things i do like:

i found my brothers Christmas gifts in a store and i almost peed my pants when i got them. ooo i love gag gifts SO MUCH.
celebrating friends birthdays.
baking my chocolate cake for said birthday tomorrow
the sharks winning yesterday, and the lions too!
mugg&bean
seeing AMERICAN ESPN this morning...ooo glorious to see football highlights
the new MR. and MRS. Jason and Ashley Brown!!!

One day i was praying and then the Lord told me to move to Africa. a lot happened after that, and before that prayer too. but here i am.

i'm now trying to learn a new language and culture and create a new family so the ache of missing the real one doesn't sting as bad. this is me trying to digest my life and salvation and hope in a way that makes sense in my head.

i don't like proper punctuation in emails, or writing in general. i love york peppermint patties. and coffee, ah yes, always coffee. i love sunrises and dancing and hope. "...i am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."
