the boys are back in town...

my boys are back!
today was full of joy and wonder that i actually get to
hang out,
teach,
feed,
wipe,
play,
read,
and just be with the boys all the time.
i'm so amazed at how the Lord works
and where He leads.

eish man, never ever did i dream of doing
this.
but here i am. loving it... feeling like i found
my niche.

here are just a few things they did today that made me fall even more completely in love with them.
their cute little ways are so endearing.
at least today ;)

i've had the hiccups on and off all day today. its very annoying and frustrating. rubin asked me around 10:
"do you have the hiccups, bekah? thats not good. thats the bad kitty."
(this is a reference to Madagascar two, and one i guess. those boys LOVE that movie...) 

i was trying to get perfect to listen and obey me when we were outside earlier. we're really learning hard how to "walk and hold hands. no running."
yup, that about sums up the school mantra right now.
anyway, perfect let go of his hand buddy and started crawling.
i told him: "perfect, you get up and get back in line so help me..." 
(i know, great teacher right there, huh?)
he quickly replied: "bekah, i am NOT perfect!! i'm a lion! see, look at me, i'm a lion, bekah!"
ahhhh how do you convince a four year old he is in fact a four year old and not a lion or any other animal?!?
*smiles*

after lunch, calvin and perfect built a fort. they used all our chairs, all our blankets, the wall, and the counter top.
they dragged in almost every book on the book shelf and they refused to let me
enter their new boy world.
i'm not kidding.
they entertained themselves in the "man cave" for well over an hour.
i could hear their sweet little voices speaking back and forth.
mostly in shona, but a little spedi was thrown in too.
at least i think so...i think my ear is getting better at distinguishing the languages of all the boys.
i might not understand what they say half the time, but i think i do notice a change.
of course, i didn't sleep well last night so i might be making all of this up! *grins*

i took all these photos today. i was just so happy to have them all together again! the sun was shining it was a hot day. made me miss the blizzard that hit home this weekend. *frown*

i missed this silly boy and his faces. two months was far to long to not see him.

normally i don't think rubin and i look alike at all. we have the blonde hair but thats it, but somehow we look so similar in this photo...to me at least.

they are just so stinkin cute.
